One day I wondered, “What if I turned it into a muffin?” That idea led to my Banana Blueberry Walnut Muffins, which are still one of my favorite creations today. From there, my passion for baking continued to grow. I started experimenting with new recipes, perfecting old favorites, and creating the fresh-baked treats you’ll find at Mama Makala today—from bagels and cookies to muffins and banana bread. Every item is made from scratch in my home kitchen using quality ingredients and recipes I’ve carefully developed over time.
